Carolina Bacardi is a freediving instructor whose bond with the ocean began in early childhood. Growing up in Puerto Rico in a family of spearfishers and ocean lovers, she spent her earliest years diving for lobsters and exploring the reefs. By adolescence, she was already spearfishing and honing her skills underwater, developing not only technical ability but a deep love and respect for the sea. Over the years, her passion has taken her diving around the world, where she?s experienced the ocean in all its forms and cultures. With a focus on safety, care, and quality, Carolina creates an environment where students can expand their limits with trust and awareness while fully immersing in nature. Her teaching encourages divers to cultivate resilience, calm, and curiosity beneath the surface, transforming each dive into both a physical challenge and a mindful exploration. She brings intention and dedication to every course, offering an experience that is both elevating and deeply personal. When she?s not teaching, Carolina finds balance on land as a yoga teacher, where she continues to explore conscious breath and intentional movement. Yoga and freediving flow together seamlessly, both rooted in presence, awareness, safety, and the breath; each discipline enriching the other.
