Build a strong foundation for your freediving journey. No open water required.
Ever wondered how freedivers glide effortlessly on a single breath? This is where it begins. The Pool Only course delivers the complete FII Level 1 curriculum, the same theory, techniques, and safety training as the full certification, all in a warm, controlled pool. No boats, no cold water, no waves. Just you, your breath, and expert coaching.
In just two days, you'll discover what your body is truly capable of. Most students are amazed by how far they come.
Many students reach breath-holds of 2 to 3 minutes during the course and leave with the knowledge to train toward dives of up to 20 m (66 ft) in open water.
Day 1: Classroom (West Seattle), 8:00 am to 1:00 pm
Freediving theory, safety, breathing techniques, equalization, and gear fundamentals.
Day 2: Pool (Snohomish, WA), 9:00 am to 2:00 pm
In-water training: surface water entries, depth technique drills, rescue practice, and emergency scenarios, finishing the day with static breath-holds.
